Job Title: Event Assistant (Part-Time, As Needed)

Compensation: $25/hour (plus mileage if applicable)
Schedule: Part-time, as needed (~3 -10+hours/month; hours vary based on event schedule)
Location: Various event locations (travel required)​

At Wee Play Santa Rosa, LLC  we specialize in providing clean, safe, and engaging soft play rentals for children from crawlers to age 5. Our equipment is designed to offer a space for exploration, sensory curiosity, and tons of fun—giving little ones a chance to play in a secure environment while creating lasting memories.

Whether you’re planning a birthday party, wedding, corporate event, or a community pop-up, we are here to make your event Instagram-worthy and stress-free. We take pride in bringing joy to every celebration, big or small, and are honored to be part of your special moments.

 

Position Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and flexible Event Assistant to support the setup, execution, and breakdown of events. This is an as-needed, part-time role ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, has a strong sense of responsibility, and is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive to and from event locations, transporting materials and supplies as needed

  • Assist with event setup, including lifting, organizing, and arranging equipment

  • Support on-site event operations to ensure smooth execution

  • Provide top-notch customer service as the representative for Wee Play

  • Collect and return incidental deposits

  • Clean, break down, and pack up materials following events

  • Maintain organization and care of event supplies and equipment

  • Follow directions and adapt to changing event needs

 

Requirements:

  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record

  • Reliable personal vehicle for transportation to and from events

  • Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs

  • Punctual, dependable, and detail-oriented

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills

  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends

Additional Information:

  • This is a part-time, as-needed position with variable hours

  • No benefits are offered for this role
